Cleaning Time Cambridge were contacted by our customers in Grantchester regarding our Marble Restoration & Sealing Services In Cambridge. They were unhappy with the way the their marble floor looked and really wanted to replace it. Luckily, we convinced them to restore & seal the marble as we knew we could get it to looking like brand new again! 

The Marble floor had been badly etched by shampoo’s and various other chemicals as you can see from the before photo above. To remove this we would have to do a full restoration with special pads and polish it again to make it like brand new. This was a 4 step process starting from 400 grit which was to hone off the stained marble working up to 3000 grit which was a beautiful looking polished finish. 

Once completed, we then sealed the marble using a solvent sealant to protect the surface and stop future staining happening. Marble is a acid sensitive stone, so we also advised to not buy any acid shampoos or products that would damage the stone again.
