Cleaning Time UK received and enquiry from Theatre Deli in Sheffield South Yorkshire, for their concrete floor that they had found after ripping up the old carpet tiles they had on the floor for many years. Upon quoting we discovered that there were many glues & rubber left on the floor from the backing of the carpet tiles. We soon gathered the information that we needed and agreed a cost with management and proceeded onto getting the job booked in. 

We arrived on site in Sheffield and proceeded onto prep the area by applying a solvent solution to burn off the rubber and glue excess that was left over on the concrete floor. We did try some more eco-friendly solutions that we would normally use but they simply did not even touch the surface of the glues/rubbers. We then began scrubbing the floor using aggressive diamond brushes and pads in order to begin to remove the excess and it came off very easily thanks to the solutions we had applied. Upon completing this, we then rinsed the floor using our pressurised wet vac system to remove all the dirt etc. The floor was then dried and the job was complete! The work overall took around 3 days due to being a big area and lots of areas that took a while to remove but, the end results was a “like new” concrete floor!
